Illuminance is the first book of celebrated contemporary photographer Rinko Kawauchi’s work published outside her homeland Japan.
The clothbound volume, with Japanese binding and die-stamped cover lettering, gives space within to the nuanced palette and subtlety of Kawauchi’s visually arresting images.
